Josephine Galatioto
Biography
Josephine is an Account Supervisor on the Healthcare Public Relations team with a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology, as well as extensive strategic communications experience. Her expertise spans across multiple therapeutic categories, providing client support from pre-clinical research through to clinical stages.
Josephine plays an integral role on the healthcare public relations team, supporting the development and advancement of strategic corporate communications programs for a diverse roster of clients. Whether corporate positioning, strategic planning, data milestones, content development, media relations or clinical trial recruitment support, she works alongside the team to tackle challenges, deliver on client goals andflawlessly execute impactful communications initiatives from start to finish.
Starting her career as a bench scientist, her expertise spans across multiple therapeutic categories and pre-clinical to clinical stage research. With her deep science background and broad communications experience, she is able to translate complex science, see the big picture from all angles and drive impactful programs.
Prior to joining ICR Westwicke, Josephine most recently served as an SAE at Russo Partners. She also worked as an Instructor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Josephine received her Ph.D. in Molecular & Cell Biology from SUNY Downstate, MS in Health Communication from Boston University, and B.A. in Natural Sciences for Fordham University.
