Victoria Meissner, M.D.
Victoria Meissner, M.D., joined Westwicke in 2018. As a Vice President in Westwicke’s New York office, Victoria works with both public and private companies in the pharmaceutical/specialty pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology and healthcare IT sectors. Due to her strong clinical and scientific background, Victoria brings in-depth subject matter expertise to our team, helping identify and leverage our clients’ key differentiators and thus advantageously position companies in the competitive landscape.
Prior to joining Westwicke, Victoria worked at Russo Partners, the Ruth Group and Cove Capital, where she gained experience in investor relations, capital raising, crisis communications, regulatory approval and corporate strategy for public and private small- to mid-capitalization healthcare companies.
Before making a career change into this industry, Victoria had over 10 years’ experience in medicine and clinical science, having worked in cell transplantation, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer research fields, including working as a physician-scientist for the Chicago Diabetes Project at the Department of Transplant Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was also pursuing her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology.
Victoria received her medical doctorate (M.D.) from the Medical University of Vienna in Austria and now lives in New York City.
